Job Description - Allstate Agency Manager

Our Allstate Agency Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the agency’s overall growth, management, and profitability. This position involves strategic planning, staff management, sales oversight, and ensuring operational efficiency. The Manager will lead a team of insurance professionals to meet business goals, enhance customer satisfaction and retention and maintain compliance with industry regulations. Allstate Agency Manager Compensation and Benefits: Agency Manager Manager Competitive Salary: Enjoy a base salary plus commission, with expected monthly earnings ranging from $8,000 to $13,000, plus potential for additional income based on department profitability. Base salary of $7000 plus 12% monthly net profit. Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): We prioritize work-life balance, offering industry-leading PTO. New full-time employees accrue 4 hours per pay period, totaling approximately 96 hours in the first year, with increases over time. Comprehensive Benefits Package: Hannah Motor Company provides extensive health benefits starting the first month after 60 days of employment. Options include medical, dental, vision, Health Savings and Flexible Spending accounts, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability, alongside a robust 401(k) plan for retirement planning. Paid Holidays: Hannah Motor Company offers at least 5 paid holidays per year to Agency Managers subject to completion of the introductory period and other eligibility requirements as per company policy. Allstate Agency Manager Responsibilities: Leadership and Management:

  • Develop and implement business plans to drive the agency's growth and profitability.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of insurance agents, customer service representatives, and administrative staff.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure staff meets or exceeds targets.
  • Establish and regularly review equitable pay plans.
Sales and Business Development:
  • Oversee the development and execution of sales plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop initiatives to attract and retain clients.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients and partners to drive business growth.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
Operational Efficiency:
  • Ensure the agency operates smoothly and efficiently by implementing effective processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate agency actions with dealership leaders to best balance dealership and agency needs.
  • Monitor and manage the agency’s financial performance, including budgets, expenses, and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure each team member maintains proper licensing and completes required continuing education.
  • Utilize appropriate technology and systems to improve operational efficiency and customer service.
Customer Service:
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continually improve service quality.
* Marketing and Branding:
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to enhance the agency's brand and attract new clients.
  • Oversee advertising, promotions, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Represent the agency at industry events, networking functions, and community activities.
Agency Manager Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Agency Manager or similar executive role in the insurance industry, with Allstate experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Must currently hold Property & Casualty, Life & Health licenses.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Proficient in using insurance software and other business management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
