Reporting directly to the Director of Alumni Engagement, Assistant Director will be responsible for helping cultivate an engaged community of Questrom School of Business alumni to establish a robust structural framework for data-informed alumni engagement. Core functions will include designing, collecting, and analyzing key metrics to evaluate the success of alumni engagement initiatives, providing a data-informed perspective on engagement levels, and supporting the planning and execution of targeted programming. In collaboration with the Director, the Assistant Director will plan alumni events including regional, virtual, alumni weekend, and collaborative events with other campus partners that involve Questrom alumni.
Specific responsibilities include:
Job Function 1 (25%) – Data Management & Analysis
- Partner with the Director to establish and refine metrics for assessing the effectiveness of alumni engagement and volunteer efforts; collaborate with the Director to strategically expand and enhance alumni programming based on engagement outcomes data.
- Analyze and help streamline processes and operations for alumni engagement initiatives.
- Regularly track alumni involvement and feedback; record and document alumni engagement activity in CRM; analyze trends and feedback.
Job Function 2 (25%) – Communications
- Contribute compelling content for newsletters, annual reports, and social media.
- Strengthen Questrom's online visibility through creative and interactive use of social media.
- Create effective content for alumni-related portions of the Feld website.
Job Function 3 (25%) Events Management
- Collaborate on the planning and implementation of in-person and virtual alumni community cultivation programming, including event logistics management.
- Identify and solicit volunteers for events aimed at creating meaningful touchpoints between Questrom students and alumni.
- Provide briefings, event materials, and presentations as needed; track and update post-event feedback data.
Job Function 4 (25%) – Alumni Interest/Affinity Groups
- Partner with the Director in development of alumni councils that will lead to the creation of affinity and identity-based alumni programming; effectively administer alumni volunteer retention strategies.
- Manage logistics for alumni council meetings and events.
