Role Summary: As the Associate Chief Nursing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the administration and direction of nursing services across multiple hospitals, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. You will support the Chief Nursing Officer by implementing strategies, supervising senior nursing staff, and fostering an environment that promotes professional growth and high standards of healthcare delivery. Key Responsibilities: Support the Chief Nursing Officer in strategic planning and operational management of nursing services. Ensure high-quality patient care aligns with internal standards and compliance with external regulatory bodies. Directly oversee nursing leadership across designated facilities, maintaining optimal staffing levels and ensuring staff competence. Facilitate the development and implementation of nursing practice standards and healthcare protocols. Promote and participate in educational programs and initiatives that support clinical excellence and professional development among staff. Serve as a mentor and role model, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and patient-centered care. Lead cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes. Manage departmental budgets and resources efficiently, promoting cost-effective practices while maintaining quality care. Requirements: A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field such as Health Administration, Business, or Public Health. Active and current RN license in the state of Michigan or eligibility to obtain prior to employment. Proven experience in nursing leadership within a large, tertiary healthcare facility. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively in a dynamic and complex environment. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as CENP or NEA. Experience with labor relations and a solid understanding of regulatory compliance and accreditation.
