Carnegie Mellon is enjoying its most productive fundraising years in its history, raising more than $950M over the last three years. University Advancement (UA) supports the entire CMU community in building relationships with key constituencies and securing the financial resources the university needs to continue its ascent. As the division grows, we are seeking an associate director, Gift Planning Stewardship and Administration. This is an exciting opportunity if you thrive in an interesting and challenging work environment. Reporting to the senior director, Development and Gift Planning you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining dynamic and thoughtful stewardship programming for an assigned portfolio of some of the university's most generous and loyal donors. You will work closely with individual donors and, in some cases, the donors' family members and advisors. You will also serve as an integral member of the University Advancement/Office of Gift Planning team in the area of bequest administration and day to day oversight of estate and life income gifts by coordinating activities with gift officers throughout the university, with selected outside vendors, and with various university departments (i.e. Advancement Information Systems, Donor Relations, Office of General Counsel, Investment Office, Treasury) that intersect with such gifts.
