Automotive Porter

The Automotive Porter at Parkside Kia is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dealership's lot, service department, and showroom in order to provide a professional and welcoming environment for our customers. This individual contributor role will also support the sales and service departments in various tasks as needed. This is a full-time hourly position in the auto industry, located in Knoxville, Tennessee. Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Keep the dealership's lot clean and organized by moving vehicles to designated areas
• Wash and detail vehicles for display on the lot and in the showroom
• Ensure all vehicles are properly fueled and have necessary documents and accessories
• Perform assigned tasks to assist the sales and service departments, such as running errands and retrieving parts
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service department, including the customer lounge and restrooms
• Assist customers with loading and unloading vehicles
• Report any damages or malfunctions of vehicles to management
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of automotive cleaning and detailing techniques
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment and tools
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays as needed
