Position info:  Permanent role at #140K + 11% bonus
Location: 100% remote preferred to work in Central time zone hours.Criteria:

1. Virtual Machines (VMs): Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and managing virtual machines in Azure, including knowledge of VM sizes, images, networking, and storage options. Unix/Linux administration required.

1. Azure Fundamentals: A strong understanding of fundamental Azure concepts, including Azure services, resource management, subscriptions, and billing.

1. Automation and Scripting: Proficiency in automation and scripting using tools like Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments and management.

1. Azure DevOps: Familiarity with Azure DevOps services for continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD), including Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Artifacts, and Azure DevOps Boards.

1. Azure Networking: Knowledge of Azure networking services, such as Virtual Networks (VNets), Subnets, Azure Firewall, Azure Load Balancer, Azure VPN Gateway, and Azure ExpressRoute.

1. Identity and Access Management (IAM): Understanding of Azure Active Directory (AAD), Azure AD Connect, role-based access control (RBAC), conditional access policies, and identity federation.

1. Storage: Familiarity with Azure storage services, including Azure Blob Storage, Azure Files, Azure Disk Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Backup.

1. Monitoring and Logging: Ability to set up monitoring and logging solutions using Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Application Insights, and Azure Security Center for proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.

1. High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Knowledge of Azure services and features for achieving high availability and disaster recovery, such as Azure Availability Sets, Azure Load Balancer, Azure Traffic Manager, Azure Site Recovery, and geo-redundant storage.

1. Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to troubleshoot Azure infrastructure and application issues efficiently using monitoring data, logs, and diagnostic tools.

2. Please describe your detailed experience in deploying, administering and supporting linux virtual machines.
3. Please describe your detailed experience with Azure in Infrastructure as Code, deploying everything in Terraform

Pay Range: $130,000- 140,000/yearThe specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
