We are looking for an exceptional Bar Attendant, who has the ability to create a positive customer experience through excellent service and expertly crafted beverages, at our new Madison Avenue pop-up boutique. This individual will bring coffee expertise as well as signature drinks and a friendly demeanor to our energetic store environment, working as part of a team to create high-quality drinks. Key attributes for the position include strong organizational skills, the ability to build relationships, and a commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they enter.
• Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients.
• Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preference of coffee blend, dairy, and sugar ratios).
• Serve quality signature no alcoholic beverages
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards).
• Keep the bar area clean.
• Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates.
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate customer feedback to manager and recommend new menu items.

Qualifications:

• Previous work experience as a barista or waiter/waitress.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work flexible hours.
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients.
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.
