Willow Bridge is currently hiring for an experienced Benefits Administrator - Leave and Accommodations. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Leave Management:
    • Administer various employee leaves, including FMLA, Personal/Medical LOA, PDI, and more. 
    • Evaluate eligibility and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines. 
    • Manage benefits entitlement and coordinate leave-related repayments. 
    • Certify additional leaves as per legal requirements and company policies. 
    • Maintain and update the HRIS system throughout the leave period.
    • Guarantee prompt updates on benefits and employment status to employees.
  • COBRA Administration:
    • Offer administrative support concerning COBRA regulations and procedures.
    • Handle inquiries from COBRA participants via phone and email with professionalism.
    • Ensure timely dispatch of COBRA notifications and communicate with carriers regarding participant elections and terminations.
  • Financial Coordination:
    • Process weekly bank deposits related to Leave of Absence, COBRA, Flex Spending Account reconciliations, and other payments as necessary.
  • Benefits Coordination: 
    • Oversee the administration of Long-Term Disability, Short-Term Disability, Waiver of Premium, and Life Insurance claims.
  • Support and Collaboration:
    • Provide exceptional customer service to regional leadership for escalated concerns.
    • Demonstrate effective teamwork and prioritization skills.
    • Perform additional tasks as required.

 


Qualifications

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 6 years experience in Leave Administration within a large organization, preferably with a multi-state workforce.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with FMLA, ADA, and other relevant leave and accommodation laws. 
  • Proficiency in leave management systems, particularly those emphasizing FMLA and ADA compliance.
  • Strong analytical abilities to swiftly identify and solve problems. 
  • Experience in developing and enhancing Leave of Absence and accommodations vendor.
  • A history of successful collaborations with external partners, including Third Party Administrators and legal advisors.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a focus on tracking, prioritizing, and advancing projects with a high degree of accountability.
  • Knowledge of the Dayforce HCM database is beneficial.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
