Responsibilities:
Explain provisions of the insurance benefit programs for employees and retirees.
Assist employees with questions relating to types of leaves.
In collaboration with our Business Analyst, c oordinate open enrollment activities for active employees.
Conduct benefits review for new employee orientation.
Coordinate various on-site vendors for employee meetings.
Monitor leaves of absence for accurate benefits billing.
Provide intermediate to advanced analytic support to Department liaisons for Department, Bank, FRS and/or federal agency staff and management in resolving complex problems.
Design and implement effective solutions to business problems.
Develop, revise, and deliver communications, such as proposals, reports, presentations, and procedures, including recommendations, for all levels of employees .
Develop and revise procedures, and define processes.
Monitor and verif y compliance with applicable new and existing policies, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree AND five (5) years of progressi ve experience relevant to leave of absence and applicable laws and regulations OR
Associate degree AND seven (7) years of progressive experience relevant to leave of absence and applicable laws and regulations OR
HS Diploma AND nine (9) years of progressive experience relevant to leave of absence and applicable laws and regulations.
Solid understanding of different benefit plans (retirement, health & dental insurance, etc.) and relevant regulations.
Proficient in MS Office and/or HRMS system .
Understanding of data recording and analysis.
Ability to provide valuable and customer-centric service.
Attention to detail, completeness and accuracy of information.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong communication skills; ability to communicate clearly to all levels of leadership and with employees directly.
Additional information :
Salary Range for Benefits and Leave Administrator $78,300-97,830-117,400 Annually. Salary offer will be based on qualifications/experience of the candidate, alignment with market data, the needs of the position, our total compensation package, and internal equity .
