Job Title: Body Shop Manager
Compensation: $75,000-$120,000
Hours: Full time Monday - Friday and rotating Saturdays

Job Summary:
The Body Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the body shop, ensuring the highest level of customer service, quality workmanship, and efficient use of resources. This role involves managing staff, workflow, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the body shop.
- Ensure that repairs and services are completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures and company policies.
* Staff Management:
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise body shop staff including technicians, painters, and administrative personnel.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.
- Schedule staff to ensure proper coverage and workflow.
- Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork and professional development.
* Customer Service:
- Ensure excellent customer service by handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Oversee the estimation process, ensuring accuracy and fairness.
- Maintain strong relationships with insurance companies and other partners.
* Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the body shop budget.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Implement cost control measures without compromising quality.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, and provide regular updates to senior management.
* Quality Control:
- Ensure that all work meets or exceeds industry standards and customer expectations.
- Implement quality assurance processes and conduct regular inspections.
- Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
* Inventory Management:
- Manage parts and supplies inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Establish relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms.
- Implement inventory control systems to minimize waste and loss.
* Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.
- Two years experience in a management role within an automotive body shop.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, techniques, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using Reynolds and Reynolds, Microsoft and CCC One software and other relevant tools.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
- Valid AZ driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Must be able to pass a pre employment background check and drug screen (not includimgv THC).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work in a shop environment for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in: an office setting, in a body shop and outdoor environment with exposure to weather, noise, fumes, and potentially hazardous materials.
- May require extended hours, including evenings and weekends, during peak periods
