Albany State University is a fully accredited senior unit of the University System of Georgia. LocationOur West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.
Job SummaryThe Bursar is responsible for Student Accounts Office and for overseeing the Assistance Bursar, Accountant I, Third Party Specialist, and Accounts Receivable Specialists. The Bursar provides reports, quarterly and yearly, to the Board of Regents and the university. They manage and oversee the operations of student, faculty, and staff accounts. Ensures compliance with University, state, and federal regulations and standard accounting procedures. Responsibilities
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting Required Experience
5 to 8 years experience in Accounting
2 years of experience using a computer with relevant software like Microsoft Office Proposed Salary
Salary is commensurate with experience
