We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer located in the US.

The mandatory requirements for this role are as follows:

• The candidate must live near Danvers Boston, with a reference point no further than Massachusetts.
• SAP (ideally supply chain, knowledge of SAP ERP, and familiarity with SAP data structures)
• Power BI
• SQL.

Data Engineers (65%)
Understanding of data analysis to provide recommendations (35%)
Mandatory requirements:

Power BI
SQL. The candidate should have some experience in SAP specifically transaction SE16N and an
understanding of how to investigate what table stores the data in a given screen that a user may be showing them. Also, they should have at least 3-5 years writing medium complexity SQL and lastly at least two years in power BI data modeling not to be confused with creating the visual layer in Power. For the Power BI modeling part, they should know concepts like thin vs thick reports, star schema, measure folder, inactive/inactive relationships etc.

Job Description:
The Business Intelligence Engineer will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our
organization's data infrastructure, data models, and analytical solutions. The successful candidate will
work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, design, and develop data
pipelines, data models and create interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to
drive business growth and decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective
data models and reporting solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines, ETL processes, and data
integration workflows.
Develop and implement data warehousing solutions, ensuring data quality, integrity, and
accuracy. Build and maintain data models, data cubes, and dimensional schemas to support business
reporting and analysis.
Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using business intelligence tools (e.g.,
Tableau, Power BI) to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
Perform data analysis and ad-hoc querying to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for
process improvement and business growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers and Data Scientists, to ensure
data infrastructure and analytics solutions align with business goals.
Monitor and optimize the performance of data processes and analytics solutions to ensure timely
and accurate delivery of information.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in Business Intelligence and apply
best practices to enhance data analytics capabilities.
Qualifications:
Strong experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and business intelligence
development.
Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and data modeling.
Domain knowledge of manufacturing/production, supply chain, quality assurance, logistics etc. is desirable.
Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with data manipulation, data integration, and ETL processes.
Experience with Power BI, DAX, PBI Service and administration.
Knowledge of SAP ERP systems and familiarity with SAP data structures and modules.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their data services is desirable.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a
cross-functional team environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate, and reliable data solutions.
