The Business Manager in the Office of Research Core Administration (ORCA) will provide support to the Assistant Director and Director of Research Infrastructure. ORCA supports operations of 18 Research Cores in the School of Medicine by reporting monthly income statements, billing and fund recovery, facilitating new hires, performing variance analysis for the Dean’s Office, coordinating the annual RAC report and strategizing core operations with the Director of Infrastructure. The candidate will report directly to and will work closely with Assistant Director to maintain and improve operational capabilities and will provide customer service support for the School of Medicine principal investigators.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: Two years of relevant exempt level experience, typically in finance and budget. Relevant exempt level experience may substitute for a degree. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
