Department Overview

 

Major Infrastructure Delivery (MID) is an exciting organization with over 1,000 coworkers, 10,000+ contract partners, and a $2.96 billion budget. The following are some of the key areas we are accountable for delivering in MID:

• 10,000 miles of electric distribution lines to reduce wildfire risk

• System Inspections to identify risks to safety and reliability

• Vegetation Management to ensure safe and reliable delivery of power

• Ensuring our work meets quality standards and is done right the first time

 

Position Summary

 

Support department and/or line of business system needs for the Pole Reinforcement program. Identify and implement process and system improvements, manage communications, coordinate, and deliver trainings for essential business procedures/processes, and drive development of new resources and tools.

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and assigned location based on business needs.

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

 

A reasonable salary range is:

 

Minimum Base Salary (Bay Area) $ 109,000.00

Maximum Base Salary (Bay Area) $ 175,000.00

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Broad expertise on department and/or line of business function management and applies advanced knowledge to wide-ranging issues
  • Develops innovative solutions to complex issues
  • Reviews and provides feedback on project deliverables for team members serving as a point of quality control
  • Works with and leverages relationships with Directors and Managers across functions to implement organization wide initiatives
  • May be responsible for managing budget expenditures
  • Provide direction and coaching to other team members
  • May serve as a team lead

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of related experience or equivalent

 

Desired:

 

  • Experience Power BI, SAP, Advanced MS Office, Data Analytics, Foundry
  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree desired
  • Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
  • Adaptable to changing environments and ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Organizational skills; ability to multitask
  • Public speaking and presentation abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with demanding time constraints
  • Able to present research findings and make recommendations to stakeholders
  • Ability to create compelling business cases
  • Communications across functions. Can provide input and direction to team members
  • Demonstrates ability to lead multi/cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
  • Inter-organizational management of complex, strategic projects
  • Ability to communicate at the Director level
