Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of a Caltrans Maintenance Supervisor, incumbent must retain a Class B Commercial Driver's  License and will operate equipment, construction machinery, vehicles and tools and will perform labor intensive work  associated with maintaining the state highway system and during emergency operations.

• The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.
• The position(s) require(s) a Drug Screening be passed prior to being hired.

• The position(s) require(s) a valid unrestricted Class B commercial driver’s license, with Tank Vehicle (N) endorsement.
