South Carolina Retirement Yes State Insurance Programs Yes Annual Leave Yes Sick Leave Yes Position Description Advertised Job Summary The South Carolina P4/HWC Statewide Coordinator will ensure seamless team support and development, program implementation and delivery, and quality control and evaluation for the Handle with Care (HWC) Program on a statewide level. This two-year grant-funded position will coordinate with law enforcement, education systems/districts, school personnel, mental health professions, social services agencies and other systemic and community resource providers on the state and local level to maintain and expand this initiative. Required Education and Experience Master's degree in mental health, social work, counseling, education, related field and 1 year of experience; or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Master's degree and 3 years of experience in education, social work, counseling, or related field. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge of early childhood development and trauma-informed practices. Working knowledge of the Pyramid Model. Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool such as Redcap, Excel, or other university-supported programs. Must demonstrate project management skills for complex, multi-faceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth. Must have excellent public-speaking and training skills. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail. Will require the ability to travel to targeted areas on a minimum of a bi-weekly basis. Qualities such as integrity, credibility, commitment, and passion are of great importance for the P4/HWC mission. Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations. Job Duties Job Duty Cultivates existing relationships with key stakeholders and service providers to ensure sufficient space, resources, and access to services for identified children and families. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 25 Job Duty Develops and establishes new relationships with law enforcement entities, school districts, and community agencies to support existing and developing "HWC" projects and support/retain individuals and teams that further the goals of "HWC" in South Carolina. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 25 Job Duty Ensures accountability among team members by providing significant support and oversight of individual projects. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 10 Job Duty Develops additional "HWC" project sites and oversee training and orientation of all staff members. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 10 Job Duty Works with key stakeholders to develop objective performance measurements across all disciplines to ensure consistent, high-quality performance and evaluations consistent with project goals and objectives. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 10 Job Duty Actively collaborates with Regional HWC Coordinators in counties and schools developing and implementing the "HWC" program.
