OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Operations Officer (COO) to join our Executive Management Team. The COO will collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to implement, manage, and grow CCS' programs, while ensuring alignment with CCS' strategic goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Collaborate with the CEO to set and drive organizational vision and operations strategy.
- Implement and manage a program portfolio to maximize the agency's value proposition.
- Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement.
- Develop and maintain operational plans aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
- Oversee budgeting, expenditure approval, and financial management.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including contracting agencies, the Board of Directors, and staff.
- Lead and supervise program staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Stay informed about community trends and advancements in relevant fields.
- Collaborate with the Executive Team to execute the strategic roadmap for CCS.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Suitable work experience may be considered as transferable skills in order to meet minimum requirements of the position and will be considered by the Executive Director of Human Resources.
- Master Degree in Business, Finance, Social Welfare, Public Administration, or related field
- 10 years of experience in progressively responsible management positions
- Fluent understanding of financial oversight and procedures, social services, and Executive-level management
- Current Arizona Professional Behavioral License preferred
REGULATORY
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver license, proof of insurance, and 39-month motor vehicle report
- Ability to obtain and maintain Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and FBI National Criminal Records History Report (employer paid)
- Pass pre-employment drug screen (incudes marijuana, regardless of recreational use laws) (employer paid)
- Professional license or certification may be necessary to meet contract, licensing, or accreditation standards
