Job Description - Cleanroom Production Operator

Job Title: Cleanroom Production Operator


Job Description

As a Cleanroom Production Operator, you will perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products, identify line issues and production problems, and notify the Team Leader or Supervisor promptly for corrective actions. You will maintain accurate records and documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and SOPs. Your role also includes maintaining safe working conditions, adhering to safety policies and procedures, and using a computerized Materials Resource Planning (MRP) inventory system to report lot-controlled ingredients on batch records.

Hard Skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with large Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP
  • Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions
  • Experience in maintaining records and documentation according to GDP and SOPs
  • Proficiency in using computerized MRP inventory systems

Soft Skills

  • Reliability and consistency in work tenure
  • Ability to handle the speed of work
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility for overtime and ability to work on Saturdays when required

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Diego, California.

Work Environment

Work shifts are standard with the 1st shift running from 5am to 1:30pm or 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work. The 2nd shift operates from 2pm to 10:30pm, and includes a 10% shift differential. Dress code prohibits leggings; pants are required, along with side shields on glasses if worn, and no makeup, lipstick, or necklaces outside shirts. The environment can be loud, but ear protection is provided. No headphones or cell phone use on the manufacturing floor. Overtime is flexible and often depends on the position, with a potential pay raise upon conversion to a regular employee.
