(CMA) Certified Medical Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping patient care information confidential in accordance to HIPAA and other governing bodies
• Completing administrative and clinical task in the office and in the community
• Facilitate sharing of data with the individuals to whom it applies to facilitate partnered decision-making and to keep clients informed of progress
• Use patient data (e.g. as gleaned from standardized screenings and assessments, etc) to inform clinical decision-making and identify areas for improvement; use data to track patient progress over time
• Complete QI training during onboarding and participate in QI refresher training as needed
• Additional duties as assigned
• Updating and maintaining patient records through our electronic health record
• Gathering and recording patient information such as vital signs, weight, height, and medication and allergy lists
• Cleaning and preparing examination rooms prior to and after patient appointments and procedures
• Collecting and processing lab specimens and performing other clinical tasks as assigned

Some positions may require willingness to learn how to scribe
