Job Description - Collections Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Handling incoming calls and emails regarding billing and payments
  • Communicating with customers on outstanding balances and payment coordination
  • Collaborating with management on collection strategies
  • Contacting customers regarding overdue payments
  • Educating customers on billing policies and procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records of documents, payments, and customer information
  • Researching resources to resolve discrepancies
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience in medical billing and collections, preferably in a managed care setting
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office suite
  • Bilingual language skills a plus
