Job Description - Community Projects & Operations Manager

Community Projects & Operations Manager University of California Los Angeles Position Summary UCLA's Center for the Art of Performance (CAP UCLA) is seeking a Community Projects & Operations Manager to oversee community partnerships and management of The Nimoy theater, CAP UCLA's newest home for the performing arts. The Community Projects & Operations Manager will work closely with CAP's program and production team to ensure the effectiveness of all Nimoy programming and operations. The Community Projects & Operations Manager is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people - artists, staff and program participants; audience members, students, community partners, and visitors, and is eager to balance administration with responsibilities that require hands-on activities (not sitting in front of a computer). The Community Projects & Operations Manager will also be someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who will help to grow earned revenue through partnership programming, and will work closely with the Executive and Artistic Director on a business plan that will leverage the potential of the building to provide both community accessibility and income.
