Concrete Pump Operator

Here's what you will be doing

• Proficiently understand concrete pump operation   in order to   Safely place concrete for customers   job - site
• Safely drive concrete pump truck into and out of jobsite considering obstacles and site conditions  
• Clean all components of concrete pump truck and equipment to prevent concrete build-up  
• Inspect pump equipment before and after each use to identify, report any maintenance defects via site docs  
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on pump truck  
• Assist in corrective maintenance on pump components (Coordinating, possibly performing labor) 
• Assist in managing an inventory of pump components such as pump line, reducers, clamps, tremies,   ect .  
• Participate in daily morning meetings with team members  
• Communicate professionally with dispatch to ensure the most efficient scheduling possible  

Requirements

• Valid CDL with necessary endorsements to run a concrete pump truck  
• Meaningful experience operating a pump truck  
• Knowledge of concrete mixes and pumping techniques  
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety practices  
• Strong mechanical aptitude  
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness  
• Strong communication skills and teamwork  
• Flexible according to job needs and committed to Sunroc team and overall safety  
• Able to travel between Rock Springs and Roosevelt/Vernal area
