As a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST (TITLE 5),13-1102-GS, you will serve as Chief of the Contracting Office (CoCO) for the ARNG and ANG, providing professional acquisition and business advisor services.
BASIC EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: MUST possess the minimum education requirement of a bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees? (Note: Official Transcripts must be submitted with the application to receive consideration)
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT : MUST possess the required DAWIA (Level I - Professional) certification in Contracting or have Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) (Level I - Professional)? (Note: Certification documents MUST be submitted with application to receive consideration.)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: MUST possess the experience in positions supporting competencies in business, finance, risk management, project management, or supply chain management; experience including competencies such as skill in collecting and analyzing data and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively and other professional competencies in procurement administration or purchase card management.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : GS-13 Level - MUST possess the experience which includes at least 1 year at the GS-12 level, of specialized contracting that requires a working knowledge of a wide variety of contracting methods and contract types sufficient to perform pre-award/post-award and/or contract price/cost analysis; experience performing acquisition planning; contract price and cost analysis/cost accounting techniques, comprehensive negotiation techniques and a working knowledge of statutes and regulations as they apply to procurement functions.
SUPERVISORY SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : MUST possess the experience in managing the function of the work to be performed; experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
