Job Description - Controller/Operations Manager

Position Overview:

As a Controller/Operations Manager at Iveda, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial management and operational functions to drive the company's success. Reporting directly to the CEO and CFO, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records Including General Ledger, Banking, Payroll, A/R, A/P, Inventory, implementing efficient processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will oversee day-to-day operations, optimizing workflows, and fostering a culture of efficiency and excellence across the organization. Key Responsibilities:

- Obtain primary financial data for accounting records.

- Compute and record numerical data accurately.

- Check the accuracy of business transactions.

- Perform data entry and administrative duties.

- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records.

- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

- Operations Oversight: Lead and manage all aspects of daily operations, including but not limited to resource allocation, process optimization, and performance monitoring.

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.

- Team Leadership: Provide effective leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline workflows and increase productivity.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align operational strategies with business objectives.

- Vendor and Supplier Management: Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

- Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular financial reports and updates on operational performance for senior management and CEO, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.

- Manage recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and employee relations processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, operations management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

- Previous experience in QuickBooks software and accounting, 5+ years

- Proven experience in operations management or a similar role

- Fundamental knowledge of accounting

- Banking Knowledge - Wires, ACH, Bill Pay, downloads and matching to QB.

- Bank and General Ledger Reconciliations

- Accounts Payable entries and payments

- Invoicing and A/R deposits/entries

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Proficiency in leveraging a variety of software and tools across different domains.

- Ability to prioritize and multitask.

- Strong organizational skills

- Deadline and detail-oriented

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Commitment to driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
