Job Description - Cook - Three Leaf Catering

Cook 2 - Three Leaf Catering (Full Time) University of Notre Dame The University of Notre Dame ( ND.jobs ) is accepting applications for a Cook 2 - Three Leaf Catering (Full Time) . Applications will be accepted until 06/27/2024.

The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of Cook 2 within Three Leaf Catering . The UEE division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.

Why this position?
This position supports daily operations as part of the culinary production team by assisting in pantry for Three Leaf Catering food production. The Cook 2 is responsible for preparing 'grab and go' items which includes veggie trays, soups, salads, and sandwiches. As a cook with the University of Notre Dame, you will have the opportunity to support the mission and goals of a 'Best in Class' dining program. UEE serves more than 15,000 students, faculty, staff and visitors in nearly 30 different eating establishments and a variety of guests daily. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years professional kitchen experience required
  • Relevant skills and experience applicable




Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to complete basic food handler course and to obtain Knife Handling certification and ServSafe certification
  • Ability to complete University Culinary assessment and UEE Global Service Standards training upon hire
