Position Summary Information

Responsibilities

This position is a multifaceted administrative function within the Public Safety Department. The incumbent is responsible for several critical federal and state statutory and regulatory compliance areas. These include but are not limited to Payroll, Payables, Receivables, Parking Services (coordination of the complete parking program), LE Accreditation and Minimum Standards, maintenance of PNP standards, Management of the UPD Records Management System for Criminal Records, and other regulatory entities.



Qualifications

Must be able to pass drug tests and criminal background checks.
Ability to multi-task and process information quickly.
Ability to make appropriate decisions under stressful situations.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to speak English clearly and distinctively.
Superior software knowledge and skills.



Salary

Commensurate with experience and qualifications



Minimum Qualifications

21 years old
Proficient PC and fluent MS Office skills
Office management experience and skill



Preferred Qualifications

Preference may be given if the candidate has office management experience.


Payroll. AP and AR skills


Second language skills are a plus.


Relative undergraduate degree
