Job Description - Corporate Administrative Assistant

The Atlanta office of an AmLaw 100 law firm seeks a Corporate Transaction Administrative Assistant who will provide a high level of administrative support and assistance to a busy team of attorneys with commercial real estate development and various corporate transactions . This position requires a proactive team player with a “can do” attitude to support and work collaboratively with a fast-moving and busy practice representing national companies , retailers, as well as private equity groups investing in various commercial real estate properties .

“Attention to detail” is your middle name. You consider yourself a top-notch communicator and understand that following up and following through keeps a team running smoothly . You have proven experience in a legal environment and stellar administrative support skills. You’ll perform tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining attorney calendars, new client intake, file maintenance, document editing and formatting, coordinating with the firm’s accounting/billing units, assisting with transaction closings, travel coordination and expense reimbursement . You always subscribe to a high level of professionalism and communication . You understand that supporting multiple attorneys’ means being quick to re-prioritize when needed and requires superb organizational skills.  

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years legal experience; Co mmercial Real Estate legal experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), a stronghold on technology and the ability to thoroughly proofread is a must . Experience with a document management system, billing software, and time entry program is strongly preferred.
