Job Description: Join our team as a Curriculum Specialist focusing on Literacy and Humanities in the Pacific territory, specifically covering Southern California. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Curriculum Specialist Managers and Account Managers throughout the region. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a content expert, supporting the sales process from initial contact to post-sales support. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with sales teams to achieve revenue targets in the assigned region. Conduct impactful presentations at various stages of the sales cycle, including exhibits, workshops, and sales presentations. Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in K-12 education. Provide valuable customer feedback to enhance our products and services. Maintain expertise in Savvas offerings through certification processes and ongoing training. Deliver product activation training for new and existing customer accounts. Conduct professional development workshops at conferences. Foster positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond. Ideal Candidate Profile: We are seeking individuals who possess: Deep knowledge of K-5 Literacy education. Sales experience in driving revenue growth. Expertise in delivering engaging sales presentations for print, digital, and blended programs. A passion for K-12 education and a commitment to student success. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Understanding of national education standards and market trends. Qualifications: 5+ years of K-12 education experience, including classroom teaching. Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred. Specialty training or advanced certification is a plus. Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling presentations. Experience in networking with education administrators. Proficiency in technology for delivering multimedia presentations. Additional Skills/Qualifications/Experience: Ability to travel within the territory. Capacity to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. Self-starter with a proactive approach to learning and development.
