Custodian / Maintenance

We are currently seeking a Custodian / Maintenance. $23.00 to $25.00/hour Benefits

Instagram: What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

• Keeping building and property in clean and orderly condition
• Performs all basic janitorial duties at work sites.
• Scrubs, sanitize and supply restroom facilities.
• Gather and empty trash bins Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleansers
• Mix cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Cleans and polishes fixtures and furniture.
• Ensures that all OSHA standards are being met, and that Material Safety Data Sheets are properly displayed and maintained at all sites.
• Wears proper Janitorial uniform and serves as model of professional standards.
• Notifies manager of the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Assist with event set up and break down as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
• 2 years of experience in Event Utility/Cleanup Crew.
• Practice and knowledge of safe work practices.
• Experience in the hospitality industry a plus.
• Must be a proven initiative-taker capable of finding solutions with minimal supervision.
• Extended periods of driving
• Frequent standing, walking
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, climb stairwells.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver a minimum of 55 lbs.

Pay Incentives * The Custodian / Maintenance has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $23.00 to $25.00 per hour. Pre-employment drug test / background check required, which will help assure we build a team of people who can best work with others and serve our customer's needs.
