Development Associate

Job Description Summary:

The Development Associate position will enable the Corporate and Foundation team to spend more time interfacing with top prospects and working in the field. The Development Associate will run the day-to-day development function supporting the front-line officers including but not limited to sponsorship fulfillment coordination, communication coordination as directed by AVP , and other tasks that will delivery superior services to our constituent base. This position will require the skill sets of a highly organized, process driven individual who can multitask at an extremely high and efficient level. Support and facilitate development office projects as assigned by AVP /UA Philanthropy. The primary goal will be for support of the Corporate and Foundation Relations team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Three to five years' experience in development, fund raising, program management or an equivalent combination.
• Knowledge of technology and its application to development and fund raising activities.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills along with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others and build strong interpersonal relationships.
• Discretion and sound judgment in dealing with highly confidential information.
• Self-starter with creative ability to work efficiently and accurately to meet critical deadlines.
