Director of Facility Operations

Job Description:

The Director of Operations is responsible for managing all aspects of activities at SUDC , Syracuse University's Academic Center in Washington DC and assuring effective day-to-day functioning of the facility. Duties include, but not limited to:

• Managing budget
• Working closely with SUDC academic directors to meet program and student needs
• Coordinating student housing to include sourcing options,
• Working with Real Estate/University Counsel on leases, and working with students to access housing
• Scheduling of classroom and conference spaces used by Syracuse University schools, colleges and departments
• Coordinating facility support for all programs and events
• Addressing all routine and emergency maintenance, addressing safety issues in coordination with building management and the Washington DC agencies and external vendors
• assisting with internal SU marketing of the facility
