Job Description - Director, People Operations & Talent Acquisition

OVERVIEW

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a meticulous and nimble Director of People Operations & Talent Acquisition to join our team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Acquisition Strategy:

  • Develop and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top-tier talent, ensuring alignment with our company culture and values.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to enhance candidate attraction and recruitment processes, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Revamp the onboarding process to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for new team members, fostering their integration and long-term success.

Team Member Experience:

  • Oversee and continuously improve the team member experience throughout their first year, focusing on engagement, development, and retention.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance team member engagement, leveraging feedback and best practices to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Develop and execute performance management systems that foster a high-performance culture, providing clear pathways for career development and growth.

People Operations:

  • Champion a positive and inclusive company culture, driving initiatives that align with our values, foster engagement, and promote a sense of belonging among all team members.
  • Lead the integration of AI and technology into people operations to enhance efficiencies and effectiveness in HR processes.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align People Operations strategies with business objectives, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.

Six-Month Expectations:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy, focusing on innovative sourcing techniques and enhancing our employer branding to attract top-tier talent.
  • Improve the candidate experience by refining the recruitment process, ensuring timely and transparent communication from application to onboarding.
  • Establish and promote cultural alignment initiatives, ensuring that all team members understand and embody our core values, fostering an environment of collaboration and respect.
  • Revamp the onboarding process to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for new team members, fostering their integration and long-term success.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our People Ops systems and processes, with the ability to train and guide others.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to our People processes, focusing on team member experience, automation, and scalability, while balancing strategy and execution.
  • Initiate the integration of AI and technology into people operations, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.

Twelve-Month Expectations:

  • Successfully execute talent acquisition initiatives, resulting in a stronger and higher-skilled workforce, with measurable improvements in time-to-hire and quality of hire.
  • Establish and maintain a robust talent pipeline for critical roles, leveraging data-driven insights to anticipate future hiring needs and trends.
  • Embed a culture of recognition, learning, and continuous improvement, resulting in increased team member satisfaction, retention, and alignment with the company's mission and values.
  • Implement and measure the effectiveness of engagement initiatives, using data from internal surveys and feedback to make continuous improvements.
  • Optimize and improve our People Ops processes to better serve our team members, supporting scalability and compliance.
  • Analyze data from internal surveys, performance and compensation cycles, and other People Ops initiatives, developing and presenting recommendations to the executive leadership team.
  • Further optimize HR processes and systems with the integration of AI and technology, enhancing overall operational effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of HR experience, with a proven track record in people operations, talent acquisition, and HR leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in talent acquisition , including developing and implementing recruitment strategies, improving employer branding, and enhancing candidate experience.
  • Proven ability to attract and retain top-tier talent, with a deep understanding of sourcing techniques and talent pipeline management.
  • Prior experience with ADP HRIS tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations in the US.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire team members at all levels.
  • Experience in implementing and optimizing HR technologies and systems, with a focus on enhancing talent acquisition processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and improvements in HR and talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities, with proactive problem-solving and research skills.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of scalable HR processes and programs aimed at promoting and retaining best-in-class teams.

In accordance with the applicable law, the following represents a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum compensation range for this position:

The estimated annual pay range for this role is $120-140K. 

  • There may be future opportunities for continued pay progression based on continued strong performance in the role.
  • Full-time positions are also eligible for a competitive compensation and benefits package that include medical health insurance, 401K, Paid Time Off, Life Insurance and Long Term Disability leave, and a range of other benefits.
