Executive Assistant, Selling Partner Services & Buy with Prime Finance Location Seattle, WA :
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Amazon's Selling Partner Services organization is seeking an exceptionally bright, motivated, and team-oriented individual to support finance leaders across SPS. A proven track record of effective time management, taking initiative, working independently, delivering results, and exceeding expectations is important. We are looking for someone who learns quickly, is self-driven, and adapts to changing circumstances with grace. You will be an effective verbal and written communicator, possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without needing to know the total picture. Understanding basic company organization, working relationships, and business partner roles and responsibilities for this team is important as this position will work closely with multiple geographies throughout the rest of the company. You should also be able to seamlessly work across multiple teams, addressing the varying needs and work styles of the executives this role supports. This role has opportunity to work on high-impact projects across the larger SPS team. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Calendar management: understanding prioritization of meetings, advising on availability.
    • Written communication: ability to communicate clearly in written form - emails, meeting agendas, calendar invites, etc.
    • Utilizing mechanisms to ensure efficient communication with their leader and key stakeholders.
    • Technical tools and skills: developing new skills that impact team projects or needs.
    • Travel coordination: proposing and developing domestic and/or international travel schedule
    • Proactive: ability to see around corners and take preemptive action as needed.
    • Business operations: keeping day-to-day operations functioning.
    Process Skills
    • Meeting preparations: preparing upcoming meetings; e.g. adhering to templates, notetaking guidelines, confirming responses, and ensuring document retention policy.
    • Working backwards: strategically developing timelines and plans to meet deadlines.
    • Strategic planning: effectively setting priorities, focusing energy and resources, and strengthening operations that ensure stakeholders are working toward the correct goals.
    • Mechanisms/process improvement: identifying and consistently using mechanisms to systematically address recurring business challenges and making process improvements.
    • Organizational effectiveness: driving efficiency of the organization - setting vision, ensuring open communication, setting accountability, delivering on the goal and measuring success.
    Project/Program Skills
    • Space management: oversee space and collectively develop plan to address seating.
    • Event planning: oversee planning of event, delegating, and developing timeline to ensure a complete event.
    • Goals tracking: tracking team goals against defined timeline.
    • Document creating/editing: creating/editing/proof reading documents in advance of document deadline.
    • Project management: the initiating, planning, executing, and closing actions related to a project to achieve specific goals and meet success criteria by the deadline.
    • Program management: managing related projects in a coordinated manner. Applying knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to meet program requirements.

The base pay for this position ranges from $59,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.
