Job Description - Family Therapist - ASAP Adoption and Guardianship Program - Remote
Job Description: We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team in providing comprehensive ASAP|GSAP services to children and families. As a member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering prevention, education, support linkage, and counseling services to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. Responsibilities: Family and Individual Therapy: Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand the needs of children and families. Offer crisis and non-crisis intervention services promptly, ensuring contact within 48 hours and scheduling in-home visits. Provide 20-24 sessions or 270 days of individual and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches. Educate families on parenting insights and adoption/guardianship issues. Clinical Case Management and Support: Engage in relevant community meetings and maintain communication with involved personnel. Offer case management services including referrals, advocacy, and assessment of family strengths and needs. Identify and connect families with additional sources of assistance and support. Therapeutic Camps at Montvale: Assist in planning, developing, and implementing Family & Day Camps. Lead therapeutic groups, facilitate camp activities, and ensure the safety and well-being of campers. Additional Program Functions: Provide Adoption and Guardianship Preparation Training and participate in regional FUSE events. Support outreach efforts and contribute to marketing and community outreach activities. Administrative Functions: Ensure compliance with state contracts and standards. Adhere to ethical and professional codes of conduct. Maintain timely documentation and participate in required meetings and trainings. Requirements: Master's Degree in Mental Health, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or equivalent. Two years of direct clinical experience with families and children. Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation. Ability to work flexible hours and use basic computer programs. Attributes: Strong clinical assessment and crisis management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Commitment to continuous learning and growth. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is a full-time remote position based in Clarksville, TN, offering a competitive salary range of $45,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development assistance.
