The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Food and Beverage Administrative Assistant to join the Team !
Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach , this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.
The resort is p erched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115 ,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD .
Classification: Full-Time
Shift: Various – must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

What will I be doing?
Support the F&B Director by giving administrative support to the F&B outlets departments, greet and assist visitors, answer incoming calls to the F&B Director Office. Liaise between the Director, department heads and handle guest complaints that come to the office.
Perform administrative duties such as typing correspondence and reports, filing, and answering phones. Maintain and upkeep various filing systems, including vendor information where necessary
Ensure all incoming and outgoing correspondence is appropriately typed, received, mailed and/or filed to meet expect outcome. Ensure office supply pars and equipment are maintained
Data entry into Payroll and Purchasing software for payroll and ordering purposes, schedule, vacation and time off requests. Understanding of CA wage and hour guidelines.
In the absence of the Director or Assistant Director, be the point person in welcoming guests or vendors. Provide assistance in answering any questions, gather information regarding any concerns from guests and provide to appropriate Manager/Director.
Assist leaders in the restaurant during holidays and special events, as required.
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel:

Pay Range: The hourly rate is $22.00 - $29.00 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
