Shleppers Moving & Storage has been in business for almost 40 years and is one of the largest, most well-known moving companies in the New York Metropolitan area.

Shleppers Moving & Storage, an institution in New York City is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our exceptional staff.

Here are some of the things you’ll get to do with us:

• Operate a forklift
• Receive and put away inventory
• Audit Movers inventory based on Paperwork
• Utilization of our VOXME system to scan and upload inventory
• Report discrepancies of inventory and items to Managers
• Get customer orders ready and pack them up
• Work with Movers to load boxes into trucks for shipment
• Use scanners to scan bar codes on products

Qualifications

• Experience:
• forklift, 1 year (Required)
• relevant, 1 year (Preferred)
• drivers license (Preferred)
• Certified Forklift Operator (Required)
• High school, GED, or equivalent diploma

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to read and speak English for safety purposes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Bronx, NY 10456: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
