Job Description - Front Desk Office Administrator

We’re seeking a Front Desk Office Administrator to work at a premier construction company in Ventura, CA. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Pay Range: $20-$25 per hour based on experience.

What’s a typical day as a Front Desk Office Administrator? You’ll be:

  • Working at the front desk, greeting guests, and answering phones

  • Doing general office support duties to include ordering supplies, maintaining office equipment, copying, printing, and managing all file systems

  • Maintaining contract documentation and subcontractor database

  • Managing construction projects

  • Assisting in preparing submittals, contract budgets, project planning and scheduling, and

  • ensures that all reporting documentation is received from the field

  • Involved in the bidding and the establishment of the contracts

  • Assisting the project manager in preparing bids, cost estimates and schedules as requested

  • Assisting with contract administration by preparing subcontract agreements

  • Assisting maintaining logs as required for all project management duties

  • Responsible for all updating all logs and contract files

  • Assisting in managing job costs

  • Assisting in assuring all documentation is to date from all subcontractor

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Are proficient in MS Word and Excel

  • Have experience in construction and/or contracts (preferred)

  • Have excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Are detail-oriented and able to multi-task effectively
