Job Description - Hospitality Manager

Retro Holdings Group, Inc in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for Hospitality Manager to join  Essence Cafe ( located in the heart of Southside Flats, 1924 E. Carson St. Pittsburgh, PA, and to be part of the hospitality brand leadership team.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hospitality Manager to join our team. The Hospitality Manager will play a key role in overseeing the operations of our hospitality brands, ensuring exceptional customer service delivery, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations within our hospitality establishments, including administrative tasks, staffing, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to attract customers and drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Lead and mentor staff to ensure high levels of performance, morale, and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in hospitality management, with a track record of success in driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary: $30,000 per year (before taxes)
  • Additional commission: Up to $12,000 per year, based on performance
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): 4 days available for use during the winter season
  • Basic health plan
  • Yearly weekend trip stipend (for mental health)
