Job Description - HR Generalist

HR Generalist

Job Level: Associate Level

Location:  Orem, UT 

Shift:  Full-Time 

Compensation: $45,000-$55,000/year DOE

Position Summary:  

The HR Generalist is a pivotal member of Blue Raven Solar's People Team. We are looking for an individual to fill this role that serves our leaders and employees at our Orem HQ: an energetic, collaborative, and progressive population that has been recognized for outstanding culture, growth and operational practices. The HR Generalist will serve as the subject matter expert in multiple disciplines including performance management, FMLA and other leaves, ADA, onboarding, employee relations and employee experience, along with involvement in other vital areas. This position will provide growth opportunities, autonomy, an engaging workplace, a great team and the chance to own crucial tasks that contribute directly to the overall success of Blue Raven Solar!

Essential Duties

  • Manage HR processes such as leave management, ADA, filings, and terminations.
  • Partner with leaders and teams across the organization to drive outcome-focused changes, including propelling Blue Raven's company-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Handling employee relations items, including milestone check-ins, exit interviews, conflict resolution and grievances.
  • Use data to make informed business decisions, contributing to company success through our people function.
  • Support business leaders with interpretation, implementation and application of HR policies and best practices.
  • Manage I-9 and onboarding documentation, along with auditing files, department trainings and safety records to maintain compliance.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • 1-3 years of applicable HR experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Psychology or related subject preferred
  • Intermediate abilities in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of multiples areas of human resources, administration or other business-related responsibilities
  • Proven track record working as a high-achieving go-getter

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel should be expected with this role as well.
