Job Description - Human Resources Manager

Kelly is assisting our client, a large manufacturing organization in Eau Claire with a Human Resources Manager role. This is a long-term temporary opportunity expected to run thru February of 2024! Perks of joining the team:
• Starting pay range of $33.00-38.00/hr. based on skills and experience

• Position will work Full-Time onsite hours at manufacturing plant location in Eau Claire
• Great first shift hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with some flexibility available

• Partner with production and other internal/external parties to support and meet the goals and objectives of the business
• Serve as back up to Senior HR Manager
• Employee relations in partnership with union including assisting with labor relations meetings and preparation
• Learn and implement employee benefits administration and maintenance
• Assist employees with questions related to employee benefits, enrollment, logging into benefit portals/systems
• Processing of employee leave of absences, short term disability etc.
• Assist with weekly payroll related questions from employees, supervisors, and managers
• Collaborate with existing HR team on recruiting, retention, onboarding, orientation, attendance etc. Ready to get started? Here’s what it takes to apply for the HR Manager role:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration 
• 2+ years of working in a Human Resources Generalist or Human Resources Manager role is required
• Previous experience working in or with a Union preferred
• Prior experience working with HRIS system, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Experience with employee benefits administration and maintenance
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
