IT and Systems Manager

KZValve, LLC – Greenwood, NE

Summary:

The IT and Systems Manager position oversees the daily operation of the company’s IT Systems, including network infrastructure, servers, and end-user devices.

Description:

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a support team of 1-2 IT help desk professionals, ensuring their productivity, customer satisfaction and professional development.

• Systems Management: Manage all IT Operations, Systems, and Infrastructure. Implement new server infrastructure and manage ERP/support systems.

• Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues to ensure minimal downtime.

• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors, ensuring timely delivery of services and equipment.

• Security: Collaborate with the Corporate IT team to enforce cybersecurity policies and maintain data security.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT inventory, licenses, and user access. Document IT procedures and processes for internal use and audit compliance.

• Budget Management: Assist in managing the IT budget and procurement processes.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to complete projects and initiatives to improve overall efficiency and project goals

• Other Duties: as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Proven experience in managing an IT department or team

• Strong knowledge of office software, including Word and Excel

• Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience with ERP and associated systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Experience in SOX compliance and adherence to change, access, and SDLC management processes

• Experience with systems and security administration

• Experience with system backup and disaster recovery procedures, including cloud-based backup solutions for financial data.
