Job Description - IT Support Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as required):

  • Daily review of system backups for local site and operating servers and network equipment (review and documentation).
  • Assist Network administrators with troubleshooting of Network Connectivity, Server and VOIP issues and maintaining correct Active Directory entries for desktops.
  • Support of Office Suite, Outlook email applications on the desktop and other company endorsed desktop and mobile applications.
  • First level support for all non SAP applications.
  • Resolution of hardware and software problems related to the desktop and mobile devices.
  • Maintain incident and service tickets. Preference is with Service Now.
  • Maintain Configuration Items (CI) in Computer Management Database ( CMDB ).
  • Support production and office peripherals as needed.
  • Act as a coordinator between IT, operations and engineering with regards to machine network connectivity and IoT applications
  • Maintenance and update of IoT device documentation relative to network components and login information
  • Maintenance of IoT and office device connections to the correct VLANs and networks.
  • Serve as a liaison between the local business community and the broader IT organization, ensuring clear communication and alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives.
  • Contribute execution of IT strategies and projects as local IT project manager in alignment of the specific needs of the local production site.

Pay – $80,000 – $90,000

Skills and Requirements

Education and/or Experience

  • Technical School Diploma or Associates Degree in IT Administration or IT Technology.
  • Bachelors Degree Preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of practical experience.
  • Technical certifications are preferred.
  • Travel requirements up to 10% of time. null
