Job Description - Lead Document Control Administrator

Position Summary:
The Lead Document Control Administrator is responsible for managing the PLM system leveraged to facilitate all change management related to products, documents and processes at the site level. This includes processing and monitoring all Engineering changes for instrument development and manufacturing as well as all Document changes related to site functionality. Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the current Organizational change process and drive near-term process improvements
  • Be the subject matter expert regarding the Change Management process and model configuration documents in cross-functional team meetings
  • Inspire change orders to completion through the Change Management process by presenting with other functional groups and global manufacturing sites
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with relevant persons and functional groups to communicate complex change implementations
  • Seek continuous improvement opportunities to the established Change Management processes
  • Enforce adherence to Change Management standard processes to ensure accuracy of Bills of Material and Engineering Change Orders
  • Review Engineering Change Requests to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Initiate Engineering Change Requests in the engineering change process to release or modify drawings, parts, and Bills of Material
  • Assign implementation tasks and track sign-off to complete the EC process
  • Train engineering and operations staff on the Change Management process based on your experience and departmental goals
  • Perform miscellaneous Change Management related tasks upon request
  • Other related duties as required

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of applicable experience required, five (5) years for Senior Level.
  • Team player, professional, detail-oriented, thorough and honest
  • Ability to multitask, solve problems, and prioritize in a fast-paced global environment
  • Self-motivated to follow tasks through to completion
  • Computer proficiency - MS office, database systems.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports. May coach and train others on the more complicated functions/tasks. May make recommendations to management on process improvements.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Washington is $25.60–$38.39.
