ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrate extensive expertise in mental health conditions and implement best practices to formulate comprehensive treatment plans. Deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to individual treatment goals and objectives. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively counsel and guide patients. Accurately document therapy sessions in electronic medical records (EMR), utilizing appropriate CPT codes and diagnoses for billing and treatment purposes. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and external providers to coordinate additional care or services as needed. Participate in regular peer support sessions and training opportunities. Work collaboratively with management to meet billable expectations. Intervene with emergency care techniques and adhere to reporting protocols during patient crises. Adhere to Commonwealth of Virginia Mandated Reporting Laws. Monitor and audit case files to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
