Heavy Equipment Operator

Pay Rate: $25 - $32 per hour

Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description

• As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery, including backhoes, skid steers, trucks, and bulldozers.
• Your main tasks will include digging trenches, moving solar piles and panels, earth grading, trenching, and assisting in various activities to ensure the timely completion of a solar project.
• Additionally, you will perform pre-operation activities to ensure equipment is ready for use and comply with all health and safety regulations. You will also coordinate with other team members, avoid potential hazards, and assist the crew when not operating machinery.

Work Environment

• You will work outdoors in a non-residential, construction setting, which may involve extreme temperatures and uneven ground conditions. The work schedule includes 6 days a week with mandatory overtime, totaling approximately 60 hours per week.
