SALARY: $10.00-12.00/hour
SCHEDULE: This is a limited service (part-time hours) position. Weekend and weekly evening hours available approximately 20 hours per week. Limited service positions are not benefit eligible. Apply immediately position may close without notice.
DESCRIPTION:
Performs general office duties at the Town's John M. Brown Community Center (formerly Apex Community Center).
TYPICAL TASKS:
Performs general office duties serves as receptionist answering telephone calls and requests for information; performs clerical tasks and data entry for computerized program registration. Responsibilities also include set-up and takedown for programs / events, and light maintenance work as required.
ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES
Performs related duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have the ability to deal effectively with the public, possess strong computer skills & handle a
wide variety of duties.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work is generally sedentary. Visual acuity is necessary in order to read and write handwritten
and typewritten materials and view a computer terminal.
