Mail Room Machine Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Mail Room Machine Operator to join our clients team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery to process and prepare outgoing mail efficiently and accurately. This position requires the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. **Responsibilities:**- Operate mail processing machinery to efficiently handle incoming and outgoing mail.
- Load supplies and envelopes into machines according to job specifications.
- Monitor machinery operation to ensure smooth and accurate processing.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot minor issues with machinery and escalate complex problems to the appropriate personnel.
- Sort and organize mail based on destination and other criteria.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the mail room.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. **Requirements:**- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating mail processing equipment preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Make your own schedule with an 8-hour shift between 7:30 am and 9:00 pm to accommodate varying availability and preferences.
