Maintenance Planner
1250 West Maricopa Highway Casa Grande AZ USA 85193
6-month contract with high possibility of extension

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities, Maintenance, and Calibration Coordinator to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to efficiently coordinate, plan, and schedule all facilities, maintenance, and calibration activities, ensuring seamless operations without disrupting production supply. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with facilities and maintenance supervisors, supply chain, and operations teams to execute preventive maintenance tasks, manage facility operations, and ensure equipment calibration adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, estimate, schedule, and organize facilities, maintenance, and calibration activities in accordance with predetermined timelines and priorities.
Engage in benchmarking exercises to identify opportunities for cost reduction in materials and equipment, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Serve as the primary contact for planned activities such as preventive maintenance, facility maintenance, shutdowns, calibration, and other related tasks, liaising effectively with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams.
Optimize resource allocation and ensure appropriate assignment of resources based on project requirements and availability.
Participate actively in weekly planning meetings with Supply Chain and Operations stakeholders to align on priorities and address any operational challenges.
Monitor and uphold Maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of maintenance activities and identify areas for enhancement.
Conduct field checks to validate the accuracy of planning activities and identify any discrepancies or issues.
Facilitate change control processes for updates to equipment and maintenance documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Monitor equipment status changes, including the identification and logging of new equipment, and maintain accurate Equipment Configurations for regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical) or related field.
Up to 3 years of experience in planning, maintenance, or related roles within an industrial setting.
Strong planning skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and levels of the organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with Windows platform.
Experience with SAP is a plus, but not required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
