Maintenance Supervisor

Our client is looking to add a Maintenance Supervisor to their team. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safety and Compliance:

   • Ensure a safe environment for all employees, customers, and visitors.
   • Adhere to DOT and OSHA regulations.

2. Operational Management:

   • Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks.
   • Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures.
   • Track and report maintenance metrics using Microsoft Office and Oracle EAM.

3. Team Leadership:

   • Supervise and manage maintenance staff, including electricians, welders, and mechanics.
   • Provide performance feedback and conduct performance reviews.
   • Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to achieve goals.

4. Budgeting and Cost Management:

   • Monitor and adjust contracts, leases, and expenses related to maintenance.
   • Ensure spending aligns with budgetary constraints.

5. Administrative Duties:

   • Maintain staffing levels and ensure compliance with HR policies.
   • Participate in hiring and training new employees.
   • Work with HR to prepare job descriptions.

6. Special Projects:

   • Undertake special projects as assigned.
   • Support internal control processes and report any compliance issues.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years in an industrial maintenance environment, with supervisory experience.
• College courses in business or management are beneficial.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle EAM.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and adhere to safety regulations.
