HALO is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Financial Operations will begin their tenure by overseeing the daily functions of the Credit department, ensuring efficient and effective management of credit activities. This role involves preparing and presenting financial reports, managing staff workflow, reviewing significant orders and accounts, and maintaining robust credit policies and procedures. The Sr. Manager will also be responsible for staff development, performance evaluations, and fostering professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or finance, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage and grow a high-performing team. This role will begin by managing the Credit team, and once familiarized, will grow to oversee the Cash Application team as well.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare and present comprehensive reports and end-of-month financial reports to the Controller for management review.
• Manage departmental workflow by delegating tasks to staff and intervening with account executives and accounting staff as necessary.
• Review and approve orders over $75K and conduct quarterly reviews of accounts over $250K to validate credit limits.
• Analyze D&B reports and customer financials to recommend appropriate credit limits.
• Develop, enforce, and monitor Credit department policies and procedures.
• Oversee staff performance, provide coaching, recruit new staff, and develop employees.
• Prepare and deliver performance reviews, suggest merit increases, and communicate recommendations to employees.
• Facilitate monthly departmental meetings and conduct weekly meetings with the Team Lead to review workload, performance, projects, and department feedback.
• Serve as a liaison between the Credit team and Account Executives/Management.
• Review and approve weekly timecard reports, track overtime, and approve Team Lead time-off requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
• 3+ years of Credit and supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general ledger accounting software.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to multi-task under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Positive and professional demeanor with outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The estimated base salary range for this position is between $80,000 - $100,000 USD.
